So I'm starting high school in the fall, and I was wondering how evil it really is. My borther's a frershman, but hell if he gives me one straight answer about high school! What are some good/bad things about it? :flower:

im still a middle school 2nd year >.<
to me high school is just like middle school cause our school is a private school that goes from k - 12
from grade 5 on its all in the senior campus
so no big difference... i all do is move from the left side of the school to the right side of the school lol

going to a new school, i went from a huge school to a small school
it's abit scary since i only know people from my new school.

Well, you already know my opinion: hell on earth one moment, blissful retreat from family the next. The school will get bigger, so you are going to have to get used to a new layout and routine (as well as waking up at different times and such).

You're workload will probably increase a ton, knowing your district...

well, high school it not that evil. in my opinion, the school is great..but please watch out for the teachers XD they can be so strict sometimes.

eh... high school is fun, just make sure you travel during breaks or for co-curriculars w/ ur friends and stuff, when ur out of town its almost a taste of what college is like, and college is awesome! O, and don't read manga at school, read it at home lol, ull get more out of it, trust me.

wahhhh ur so young i envious of u.. highschool is the most enjoying part of school life..hehe ull learn a lot.. the difficulty of math, adolescence, a crush, and even a loved one? or SEX? heheh Joke..

High school is what you make of it. I mean you could kill yourself by taking a billion honors and AP courses (or whatever the equivalence of that may be if you live outside of the US) or you could make it really easy by taking everything low key. It also depends on your school district and how hardcore your teachers decide to be. But whatever you take, its a lot of .... fun? Do what you want, explore a little (just don't go breaking every boundary there is). Learn to enjoy it b.c you're only in high school for 3-4 years.

Learning is not evil, nor should I use that word; however, what I could learn could be destructive not in a funny way but in a damaging way in destroying any sense of values, morals, common sense, or innocence - not ignorance. I was under this peer pressure to despise the teachings of my mother and dislike school, but having been shown this, I like school now, but not for reasons than what other people say or how the boringness, but because I am learning something new and it sometimes brings gratitude for there is a order. Learning history, mathematics, english or foreign languages is important.

Well...yes...it's...very mundane...but if you like middle school...it's about the same...

Well, High School isn't Scary at all, for sure *remembers her school days* The only problem you can encounter is misunderstanding with your classmates ^_^
If you study well, no one will ever bother you (parents, teachers, nosy classmates) ^_^
But the most difficult thing is(at least for me was) to find understanding with your new friends, 'cause somehow I ended up with a... very...interesting(I don't like using words 'weird' and 'crazy' to describe my old friends), so with my mind set on common rules, it was pretty difficult to adapt in the atmpsphere, there are half of them almost delinquents... But then again, who cares? In High School people should study and that's all ^_^
If you got problems with some subjects...just make sure you don't get on the bad side of theacher of this subject :P

Nah.. It's not really as bad as it sounds.. Although, I'm not sure about your country, but over here those mythes about the popular kids bullying the other kids aren't true. But there really are those social groups... the thing with the soprty people all gathering, artistic one's... stuff like that.

What's true though is that the subjects get harder!

I know! Personal growth??? I like to do my growth in the company of myself and my closeest friends, not in front of about two-three thousand people who think I'm nutters.
