School...............ahhhhhh playing with friends at school is fun though.

Today is the first day of school n it sucked!! changing scheduel n thinking my head out whether to take AP classes or not..gosh it's so tiring, n it's so hard to wake up this morning too.

Woah...school starting already? My summer high has already taken an unfortunate crash...I half hate school. I like hanging out with my friends, but I hate classes, because I have a miniture attention span.

Same view as nutmegan. And yuanna, you should take AP. I'm probably in the same year as you, so I can't offer advice, but I don't think the AP is that much more difficult than the normal courses...

well as i can see inthe plot not many people love school!!!
but i do !!! a place where we are sill free, a place where we learn, where we play, where we love, where we find ourselfs!!!
it is just a place to be loved!!!!!!

What? Alana, you're defintely nutters. Free from what? Two parental units? You seem to forget there are about fifty times more adults in that building. And sure, we learn, but do we really want to learn? Yeah. Play. For forty minutes of the day while we consume lunches made by, ahem, ADULTS. Adults who spurn our young selves because they're old. School is not a place for love. It's not so much love but soap operas, cheesy to a fault and totally heart-breaking. And I don't think I'll find much of myself when I'm a heart-broken teen roaming around the hallways, oppressed from saying what I'm actually thinking, only learning to take on the mask to protect myself from everyone else.

Whoa, meggie. Angry much? Though I must say that I agree with you, nutmegan, I would have phrased it a bit more nicely...

But school is most definatly NOT a place for love. It is a place where we get knowledge crammed down our throats and stupid rules pressed down upon us. My favorite example of a stupid school rule: no MP3 players on in school, even if you have free period or lunch.

School was difficult but I did make a lot of friends and senior year was just fun (even though I did have to put effort in my classes). This year has been the best yet. I only have school three days a week. I got to pick which professors I wanted and everyone is more mature than in high school.

Some people don't mix well with high school but once they get into college they hit their stride and love it.

Some downsides are the cost of books ($400 for 5 classes) and dorms...I'm in dire need of a job right now...

im really liking high school and middle school was a dump. end of story!

Our high school is madd poor. We can't even afford to put our school newspaper on real paper. It's all online, cheap pricks.

Wow, anger much? My school puts out a newspaper bi-anually. How pathetic is that?

school is...needed, for me, if i'm going to be anywhere, and if i want to live a peaceful life...and ect.
But i also don't really enjoy school, and sometimes skip. However, i'm really powered up for school next year, because i will be the seniors of the school and heck am i going to be on a power trip :D

I think I'd like school minus the work and having to wake up early ^^
