The only word I can think of to describe this manhwa is... FABULOUS, FABULOUS, FABULOUS! Hwang Mi Ri is such a talented mangaka.. and all of her works are top-notch.. Legend of Nereid being my top favorite. The storyline is so intriguing you become completely engrossed into the story that the next time you look up, you noticed you've just finished 8 volumes in a row. The characters and artwork are absolutely breathtaking. This is a MUST READ! I absolutely love Hwang Mi Ri. She is a fabulous mangaka.. and her manhwa constantly keep you guessing. I have to say though.. I was slightly disappointed in the ending. I wish she had continued the story a little more in order for characters to have a little more closure. I would have liked to see where everyone ended up. That's only disappointing part I can actually find in this manhwa.. 'cause everything else is absolutely fabulous - stoyrline, artwork, characters. And also... there was a gap of three years that wasn't shown. I would have liked to at least seen a few scenes of what went on in each of the character's 'lives' to see what had caused them to change into what they were in the end. Despite me feeling as though the ending could have left a little more of an impact I definitely recommend everyone who has read this manhwa to finish reading it if you haven't. And if you have to read it.. what are you waiting for? Lol.. This is a fabuluos manhwa that you should definitely check out!

Though, I think the ending did leave a somewhat bad impression, despite that though, I can't really say the ending ruined the story for me because in fact, I believe that the storyline is absolutely fabulous. And I guess in a way, the ending could work, in order for you allow to make your own assumptions. Personally - I hate making assumptions.. I like cold hard "facts," dang it. Lol. I guess in some way, the manhwa ended the same way it began which tends to make the ending quite more interesting if you look to it that way. I think maybe, if there had been a little more closure on those missing years, the ending may have worked out a little better. That way you could have gotten more of a feel for why it ended the way it did. Despite all these minor complaints though, you definitely need to finish reading it, if you haven't. And if you have yet to read it, DO SO! Lol

I loved this manwha. I loved how it was set in the past. There was just something bewitching about the story, I couldn't help but love it.

I tend to like these kind of stories too, kind of remind me of Basara. I love Hwang Mi Ri's work. She's got great stories and they're entertaining.

Though the story was pretty long and did tend to drag from time to time, overall it was a good series. I didn't really like the ending though. Wish it would have ended differently.

i did read all of this manga but i didnt really enjoy it. it wasnt exciting enough for me and i didnt like the ending at all

And there're other things I have on my mind about this manhwa(there maybe spoilers but they're not imporatant, so I don't use spoiler tags):
Naisia's bitchy character and insane jealousy is one part of the root of all evil in this manhwa. If she really loved Temedes this much, she should have tried to make everything to make hime happy and not to destroy what he hold dear. Moreover, she didn't even understand him one bit! She made herself an illusion of an Ideal Man, but she forgot to notice that her 'ideal man' can have aside from his absolute sense of duty also a heart.
This certain moment gets on my nerve every time I re-read LoN. But I can't help it... I'm trying to think otherwise...that he's her only blood relative, she had a tragic childhood, her parents were killed by parents of a guy who pesters her with his feelings, of course that guy is a monster for her, but why the heck she's so narrow-minded when it comes to her feelings that she won't see a real thing! *augh*

but all in all, aside from that I adore this Manhwa

i thought that this manhua would be great !!! but it did disappoint me , especially the end!!!
it was not so intriguing and they did not stay together ¬¬ it was the worst

This story was great but I am very disappointed in the ending because they have no ending, I really hopes that there is a part two to this story

One of the best of all times only that the ending sucks ass. Could have been better if the author didnt give it a crappy ending.

Hwang Mi Ri is my favorite author. Though I didn't read this manhwa (yet), it's on my to-read list.

I like this manwha, it has so many stories and full of actions and dramas. But the ending is kinda hanging. I was hoping she would end up with the General. I hope that there will be a sequel of sorts.
