I think friendships are good. "Best friends" is a relative term. I term someone a best friend if we're willing to share weakness as well as strengths. We only share the practical stuff and we're basically on similar career trajectories. We have are careers in common. Given that our careers take up most of our life and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, we will at least have common interests for a while to come.

Flakey Friend: Your
bestfriend means well, and does care about you, but she is a bit
self-absorbed. Sounds as if she's worth the effort, but you need to
have a heart to talk with her and let her know how she's letting you
down. If she's really your friend, you'll be able to work it out-
together.
I've never labeled anyone of my friends as best friends they might think they're my best friend but that doesn't make it so. It's just a term that people to use for friends they're extremely close to. I keep all my friends on the same level since friendship is only as strong as we make it to be.

Lol.. somehow i dont really believe it, i have bestfriends but when it comes down to it there's sometimes/ parts where we're just like dont wanna talk to each other about it. idunno, its werid.
