completely fluent in english and mandarin.
good enough in french, and a few phrases here and there from random languages (korean, japanese, spanish, tagalog) so i don't really think they count. plus, i'm pretty decent in a few other chinese dialects.

...wow I'm jealous outside of english I can only understand a bit of spanish...
and even still I almost failed my Spanish III class...

Since going to school and needing to learn a foreign language I decided French would be the language and I did learn it, but now I am not so sure. I could write it I suppose with a dictionary next to me and I can speak it after questioning myself constantly.
I did learn, speak, write, and understand English. I am glad I did learn that language than... well actually I would have liked to learn Vietnamese too and along with French, but you're young only for a short period of time, but it's not too late for me to learn those languages.
Oh wait, I can say 'hello' in Spanish, French, Hawaiian, Japanese, and Vietnamese (I also know 'thank you' in Vietnamese >_<), I know how to say 'thank you' and 'no' in German.

as for me, i just know how to speak english, chinese, a bit of vietnamese... a hint of japanese (most from which i pick up from anime and dramas :P)

I can speak/write some Spanish, and I can read slightly more than that
but if you just dumped me where they only speak spanish I would barely know enough to get by and they would probally be laughing/frusterated with me
