Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Everything Else Stephanie Meyer

Post by happyvampyre on Thu May 15, 2008 4:56 pm

The Twilight series is an amazing vampire series. I love it tremendously, it even got me to write my own vampire novel. I recommend it to any reader.
Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final book, is coming out this summer. The cover still hasn't been released  .

Feel free to discuss the series or anything releated to Stephanie Meyer.

By the way, The Host just came out. It's supposed to be an adult novel, but I just bought it an hour ago, so I don't know yet.

The Host is NOT an adult novel. it has nothing really to do with ***. I bought it read it, it's as romantic as the twilight series~~~
I think stephenie is one of the best romance writers for teens. I really love her books.....I'm really poking my eyes out fpr breaking dawn.seroulsy, i didm't think there would be more!

Book 2 is really good. I liked it more than Eclipse. You really should read it.

That is depressing. Those books aren't cheap either... But you should find it. And read it. You get introduced to multiple werewolves and bloodsucking vampires! :D

Yeah. I'm scared of how the movie will turn out. The Eragon movie sucked massively, and the books were good (same with Harry Potter). I fear that Twilight will turn out like that, so I'm not going to see it.

I love the Twilight SERIES!!! I can't wait for the 4th book to come out this August! I also have The Host but I don't want to read it until I've read Breaking Dawn. That way I won't be too sad when the series ends. I can have something to look forward to.

The Twilight movie clip on YouTube did not fill me with hope. I plan to wait a few days to see how other fans enjoy the movie. I really hope this movie doesn't turn into a disaster with awful acting.

I did however love the books. I didn't read Stephenie Meyers other series but a friend highly recommended it to me.

I didn't see that, but I heard that Edward looked NOTHING like he does in the book. And that makes my heart weep.

Breaking Dawn just came out 3 days ago, anyone got any thoughts?

I did not expect anything in it, I do admit.

4th BOOK SPOILERS

I've read all the books and personally she should have kept it as a trilogy not a saga. the 4th book sounded like a well written fanfic with a a crap plot. some people may like it but personally I believe vampires are the living dead thier cells are dead thus it is impossible to be fertile. thus impossible to get someone pergnant.

Hm... I don't know if I agree with you. After all, vampires can think and that means that you have to have working brain cells, right? If they truly were dead, then everything they did would have to be done through magic. And since true magic is never really brought up in the Twilight quartet, then we can assume that they are still somewhat alive.

Yes. It's good, but I agree with one of my friends: at some points it seems like a really good fan-fiction. I wasn't expecting anything like what happened though. Even though it's awesome.

Spoiler:
I did think it was crap that Jacob and the pack aren't true werewolves. I mean shapeshifters are awesome, but they werewolves more so awesome.
