This is also one of my all-time favorite manga-turned drama
Hanazakari no Kimitachi E
Synopsis
The drama is based on the popular manga of the same name by Nakajo Hisaya, which has already been dramatized in Taiwan. Horikita plays the protagonist Ashiya Mizuki, a Japanese girl in the U.S. who one day sees the young athlete Sano Izumi (Oguri) compete in the high jump on television. She begins to idolize him, and decides to move to Japan to attend the same school as him. However, Izumi goes to an all-boys school, so Mizuki disguises herself as a boy to achieve her dream of being with her idol. - Tokyograph

Well, I know many of us have watched this drama, what do you guys think of it! umm should I tell you or not. Ok I will tell you strait ahead; I liked both series. The problem is that I don't know why, maybe because of the cute boys, maybe music, who knows I don't

The manga and drama are very different yet both are amazing in their own way.
If you don't want to download them Veoh.com has the episodes too.

I absolutely loved this drama! Horikita Maki and Ikuta Toma are so cute in it and Oguri Shunis just so hot in it (you can't beat Sano with wet hair and topless).
Though the plots are quite different it keeps the humour that's important. I hate the ending for Umeda though, that's a silly way to end it.
If you want to watch it online, I also watched it on crunchyroll and mysoju.

I loved Hana Kimi, i read and watched the drama and I'm pretty sure I acutally watched it twice. It's just so funny and I can't wait for the season special coming up.
I also think it's way better than the taiwanese version of Hana Kimi.

I haven't read manga, but watched both Dramas ^_^
To tell you the truth, I like Taiwanese version more :P it's crazier XD and the Nurse is more awesome in his role XD And the boy there was more like a girl, than a girl, who was more boyish T_T rofl They made such a cute couple :P
But I should say... I didn't like ending much... =/ it was just a bit too much... it could be better if she just left :P and the ending in Eglish version I didn't like either :p Well... the last scenes(farewell at school) were grotesque, but I could survive it... but, really, not the very end! It was just impossible T_T and I just can't like something that goes overboard T_T

I've only seen 6 eps. of HanaKimi Jdrama. And I love it! I read all the manga, and I had to watch the drama too. I'll like to watch the Taiwanese version also.

I finished watching the drama (thank you, SARS fansubs!) and it has officially gotten me obsessed with dramas... Damn... there goes all my freetime.
The ending in the Japanese version was SO overdone. It was basically ten minutes of people crying; which was very anti-climatic. And I feel so bad for Nakatsu... He's the best character and he got screwed over...

However, one day, an evil force called REAL LIFE cruelly tore the girl away from her computer and all its internet-delights, bringing her into a world of school, homework, and friends. And love triangles that made the girl want to rip out her hair and cry. And that's why I haven't been on Sherbet Lemon.

It was overdone... I liked the manga's ending better. =) I haven't watched either the Jap or Taiwanese dramas for ages though, so I can't remember that much about them. Ashiya Mizuki in the JDrama was too cute and feminine though, no way she could pass off as a guy. >__>
