Mm....weeeellllll...it's basically about Mikan, a cute girl going to an academy to meet her best friend hotaru and find out that the academy is for student with alice: special powers. She was able to meet her friend because the teacher found out that she had an alice too, and a really rare one, for her alice was to reject any other alice powers. She finds out that she can't get out of the academy and gets stuck there. After that....too much to explain, but the main boy characters are natsume, a boy with a fire alice, he's quite famous and both feared and respected among every students. He's like the boss of mikan's class. There's Mika-pyon, as mikan call him, he's a old friend of natsume and he has the animal horomone alice. he's quite famous among girls too. The anime ended at 24 episodes and the manga is ongoing^^ The latest volume i believe, is 15.

When I visited Korea for vacation, they had vol15 out, fresh, so I guess vol.15 or vol.16's out in Japan.

I actually have yet to de-lazify myself into reading the manga, the anime was amazing though, and I heard a lot saying there would be a second series, but obviously that was a rumor or something. But I thought that it was too cute, and I wanted my own portable Mikan xD she needs to be cuddled often.

I have not seen this anime yet. I better download and see for myself. It sounds interesting though.

I really like this manga/anime too! It is really sweet and cute but there are times when it becomes evil and sinister. that Persona person (ha ha) really creeps me out at times. BUt it has been licensed by tokyopop so there are no more scanlations :(
